Making a mermaid shirt!! [watch me fail at screen printing]

so when mt art teacher announced a screen printing project, I pretty much knew that I was going to make a mermaid T-shirt for myself <333

So I'll be posting my screen printing misadventures here!!

Screen printing is SUCH a fun project! :D When I was doing Graphic Production and Print in college a few years back, we got to work with the huge screen printing setup in the workshop and it was seriously my favorite part of the program. Almost considered saving up to buy my own multi-print rack and all the supplies for it, haha. Good luck! I'm really excited to see how your shirt turns out! <3

Oh godlike! I've seen screen printing done before me at a convention and it seems like a cool process. Can't wait to see it :)

Here's my sketches!! I'm really liking the tail done around the collar of the shirt and the mermaid in the bottle.

Also, ignore the scribbled out stuff, the scribbly mermaid, and the reverse mermaid, I was just screwing around ahaha

Oops, I almost let this thread die! Things have been kind of hectic and I've also been having internet problems, which makes it hard for me to get on the mernetwork

Anyways, I've made myself not only some shirts, but also a bunch of tote bags!

Neato! If you're doing multicolor prints, best to do the lightest colors first.
