Hey everyone :)
So I have this neoprene Ariel tail that I made for a cosplay this past Spring that I want to give it a little bit more life too. The tail itself was painted all by hand with 3D fabric paint for the scale texture but I'm having problems with finding a paint that won't flake when I'm swimming with it or around the butt if I'm by the poolside, I need to find something that's both durable and still has that iridescent quality to it so it'll have a shimmer when it's in water. (Well more than it already does)
Also I've been wanting to give it a new paint job inspired by Traci Hines' Ariel tail from her Part of Your World music video because I've fallen in love with the more teal-green color scheme that hers has achieved which kinda makes it more accurate to the movie. So the questions are, what's a durable paint that'll work on a neoprene mermaid tail and what colors would you reccomend to achieve this specific look.
Here's my tail as it is now (I'm going back and fixing the fluke to make it all one piece so the original color of the neoprene doesn't show through)

And here's the style of paint job I'm hoping to achieve.

Any advice would mean an ocean of help :)
Thanks
