*freaking out because I've never made a thread*

Just wanted to share this vid on Juku's channel of us swimming!!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLHVB8jtMPM

He let me borrow his fabric tail and it was magical and I love it~ We used his phone to record, but I'll be borrowing a gopro in the near future.

Excuse the goggles haha, I have contacts and terrible eyesight and haven't worked up the courage to open my eyes underwater yet... x_x

It was suuuuper fun though. Juku's tail gives me LIFE. :D Hopefully more (and better) vids of me to come!

Juku, acting like a babe as per usual.
And you swim really well with a monofin that size! I find those small ones tough to keep a flowy body movement :p That isn't your first time in a tail, is it?

Oh gosh, Kalani, thank you! That was my second time. It definitely doesn't have the power of my hydra, but once I got used to it I didn't find it hard to swim in. This might not be the correct way, but when I swim I just bodyroll like I learned in bellydance. So I'm not really relying on the monofin all that much, it's just an aide. I try not to use my knees/legs to swim, makes me feel very un-mer-like. ^~^

Also, he is so amazing with his face underwater!!!! I was making a HUGE effort not to look ridiculous, like how does he even do that though?!?!

I don't puff out my cheeks or anything, but I have this bad habit of letting my mouth hang open in the water... which is gross....
And then he's just over here smiling effortlessly like some sort of water god... so jealous xD

Exactly! It all comes from the core, not knees ;) You're a natural!

wheeee, you swam with a celebrity! ;)

And I thought both tails were silicone!
Very cool.

Don't worry about the goggles, I wish more mers would wear them, because eyesight (and by that I mean health) > looks. Plus they look fine.
