Idk if a post like this exists, but anyways, I know a lot of people are into being heroes and warriors, but where are my fellow villains at!! Since forever, I've loved the villains more and feel my mersona is villainous. I feel they are under appreciated so I'm just seeing if there are other Wicked Mers out there, are you a villain? What's your favorite villain? Alter Ego? Have you created a villain to your hero mersona?
I might start my own Merpod of Villains! :group hug:

I'm not sure if I classify myself as a villain exactly, but my mersona is a siren whose favorite pastime is drowning and eating humans she's seduced.

.....so, I'm down for a villain pod. ^^

er...define villain?

surely in the eyes of merfolk who protect their watery home, someone hunting and disposing of intruding, pernicious humans would be revered as a hero, not seen as a villain.

You mean villain as in how humans would view us?
...too complicated.

I tend to dislike generic, goody-two-shoes "hero figures" in the mainstream media, games, movies etc,
but I guess that's more because they are tailored to suit the tastes of adolescents. :p

mmmmmm depends on what a villain is to a person...me personally don't care for the whole human aspect of anything more so than to use them in some way for my end goal. Let's take Ursula or any character who wants absolute power over the seas/world, and will manipulate whoever and whatever to get what they want. I obviously could divulge more into what I think a villain is, but I'm on my phone, so typing anything extended on it is a pain lol

My mersona is definitely on the darker side of Chaotic Neutral, leaning towards Chaotic Evil on occasion.

Yes! Even as a kid I was always more intrigued by the antagonist. Villains usually have quite interesting back-stories. Often way more interesting than the heroes!

They are certainly more fun to play in theater! I especially like the Bad Girls!;)

I completely agree, back-stories and villains in general are more interesting, I love me a good villain! I also love in the literary world how a lot of people are starting to create books on back stories for famous villains, I always identify somewhere in a villains creation and how they came to be.
