Fish nets as hair accessories?

Has anyone tried using fish net as a hair accessory? I'm trying to find unique ways to use it in my hair...

I'm actually thinking of that. They used to have hair nets, mostly in medieval or renaissance times I think. It looks like nets almost, and you could add pearls or shells onto it, and pin it into your hair. I think it'd be pretty interesting.

Sounds super cute! It reminds me of the "fair maidens" at Disneyland and what they use in their hair, it's a sort of fishnet-y pearl thing, lemme see if I can find pictures

Yes!!! I was considering using some as a head band, or like pin my bangs back, and use have it lay on the top of my hair and let it get all flowly in the the water! I want to decorate it with shells and sea weed too!

oh my god I know. My hair looks *ridiculous* when wet. :/ really hard to feel like a majestic creature of the sea when your curls are actually just a huge messy knot. Like that's why mermaids are always combing out their hair tho am I right???

I'd need a pretty heavy duty shell to get through the knots and tangles in my hair after surfacing. (OR basically in general all the time forever.)
So I figure if I pinned it back then used a net on top of it, it wouldn't look SO bad haha
