(Sold!) Merbella Silicone Tail for Sale

Hello everyone! I am selling my silicone tail by Merbella's. I'm asking $1800 plus shipping.

I do not have measurements but due to it's stretchness it will fit various sizes ranging from small - medium, under 5,5 tall and size 8 or smaller feet. It was made for me as a size 3 but was a tiny bit big on me. It fits my size 5 and 8 mermaids too. I'd recommend this for someone in the size 5-8 range more than a smaller size as it will fit you better.

It has a few issues but is still a nice tail. Would be great for someone who wants it for fun and pictures. I tried to make sure I photographed all the issues.

There are some spots where the scales are pulling loose from the mesh liner. Most of these only show up when you stretch the tail like when putting it on. There are spots where new silicone was added to try and repair this but it didn't work well. A piece of the dorsal fin is missing near the bottom. One of the front fins is torn near the seam. There is a small tear in the fluke where the monofin meets the silicone but you can't see it unless you pull on the edge of the fluke. There are some spots on the fluke where the paint has rubbed off.

The tail has a competitor monofin but the heal straps were cut off so there is no heel straps. You can still swim in it without the heel straps, it just takes getting used to. The fluke is very stiff but does flow a little.

I've never seen this tail before! It's one with the mahina shaped monofin and those aren't too common.

You'd have more luck if you posted the measurements so people will know with more certianty that it would fit if they bought it :) You don't have to have the original measurements used to make the tail, just measure with a tape measure across key points on one side and double it for horizontal measurements. Waist, hips, knees, ankles, lenth of waist to ankles are the most important ones. Measurements of calves and waist to hips would also be helpful. Good luck finding it a new home!

Thank you for the suggestion! I will do that. I personally feel those are not really super important, as I have so many people of various sizes that wear my tails. I wouldn't want someone to think that it won't fit them just because a measurement is not exactly the same as theirs. But what your saying makes sense, so thank you so much for the advice!

i would also say to try and put it up for bid on ebay too. Also what kind of offers would you be willing to take. I love the fluke and the scales but would want to repaint it and add different fins to it.

It appears to have no drainage. The fluke is a solid piece. If there is, I don't know where cause I never bothered to look real close.

It's so gorgeous underwater! I'm surprised no one has snatched it up yet. It's a fantastic way to get a Merbellas/super quality tail at a lower price point.

The fluke is solid so no water goes in there. The foot area gets a very slight puff but as you can see from the video, it's not even noticeable.
