Best fabric for making mermaid tail?? Neproene, spandex, etc...??

Hi I'm new here and I've wanted a mermaid tail for a while.
I've decided to make my own fabric tail, but I was wondering what fabric is the best to make the tail out of?:confused:

Hey camillajayne, I would reccomend Lycra/spandex for your first tail it is easy to work with and get use to the movements in the water with, it is also light weight as well.
