AquaticHumanoid

So I just realized I haven't formally introduced myself, though I have been a member since 2013. Oops.
Hi, I'm Liz, the AquaticHumanoid, which is how merfolk are officially recognized by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, as you can see here (http://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/mermaids.html).
I love swimming and crafts and fun in general, which made putting on a tail just a natural extension of things I already love doing. I actually proposed the idea of a swimmable tail to my father as a 7th grader. He said it was possible that such a thing would impede my ability to swim proficiently (i.e. that I'd drown). When I entered college, I discovered Netflix and H2O, and figured if there are swimmable tails for movies, there might just be someone making recreational tails. Within the next 3 weeks, I was swimming in a tail having the time of my life.
Currently I am in Nursing School, and loving/hating it, which I hear is normal. I love the Nursing part, hate the School part. Which is kind of ironic for being a fish.
