Pottermore changes

I'm not sure how many Potter fans there are on here, but I needed a space to say how sad I am that the old Pottermore site has been replaced with a sort of interactive blog. All of the games and quizzes are (at the moment) gone. What's more I must have been living in an abyssal trench because I've also just found out that the Playstation Home has been closed since march so even the Playstation Pottermore is gone :(. My wizarding world fix has suddenly been limited to the movies once again.

I'm currently bed-bound (Well, couch bound really) with a horrible chest infection, and I'm rapidly running out of things to entertain me :(

Any other Potter fans on here upset with the news? Or do you prefer the changes?

(P.S. The first thing I did was check the merpeople listing on the new site and was disappointed at the lack of information. I hope it will be expanded in the future :P )

The only time I got on Pottermore was when my friend wanted my boyfriend and me to take the quiz to see what house you are. We were all very happy to find out that we are all Gryffindors! The site did seem cool but I didn't really check it out other than taking the quiz.

That is sad that the games and quizzes are gone. :(

Maybe you could look up a butterbeer recipe and have someone make it for you? I don't know if there is a Starbucks near you, but on their "secret Menu" they have a butterbeer Frappuccino - http://starbuckssecretmenu.net/starbucks-secret-menu-butterbeer-frappuccino/ When I went to Starbucks and decided to try the butterbeer I had to show the barista the recipe on the site and he wrote it down on his arm so he could make it haha.

I know a drink from Harry Potter isn't really going to help the void that the site once filled, but it taste pretty good!

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan but was never on Pottermore, i am sorry to hear it is gone. Please let me know when it gets back to normal because i would like to try the quizzes and games on there :-)
