Greetings and salutations!
This is a call out to those fabric tail makers who have added flowy fluke add-ons and fabric accent fins. I'm doing a white tail, and want my side fins to be diaphanous, see through, and lionfish-esque. I want them to flare out beautifully in the water. What I don't want: for them to rip off of me due to drag the first time I swim, or disintegrate because of chlorine.
help?

Also, boning?

I use the same fabric as my tail, sometimes a different print or color, but always swimwear fabric.

I found that glitter power mesh seems to hold up really well in water. It also flows really nicely. I'm not sure about chlorine water however.

What exactly is power mesh, and how is it different from other meshes?

Power mesh is fabric lining that holds its shape even when wet. You see it alot in sports bras, its that netting looking stuff, and inside swimwear that has sewn in bra cups.

Where do I get that?

I get mine from Etsy :) I've found more colors on there. You can find some on eBay as well.
