My first monofin! !!

So, this is my very first monofin! I got a Hydra for my birthday, and it just came in the mail!! I ordered it from magictail, as it seemed to have the best price.

Came in about a week. The package was a bit flimsy, but it seems to be ok. It comes with a carrying bag, that's cool. No manual of any kind though.

I'm so stoked to have it, I've been playing with it in my living room since it came in. Next step, tail!!

Ok!
so, yesterday I swam in it for the first time. I am by no means a monofin expert, but I feel it performed well. It fit nicely, and didn't loosen too much, so I surprisingly didn't get any blisters. It got a nice turn of speed, and felt very natural. It all but disappeared in the water, too, which was exactly what I wanted, as I'm going for a very transparent fluke. I got my first batch of tail materials today, I am super excited to start the time consuming process that will be my first tail. Meanwhile, I'm glad to have found a cheap aquatic center with a heated pool that doesn't seem to mind the monofin. :phew:

I got this Monofin aswell and already swam a few times in it. I really love it.
How is your holding up? Do you still use it?

I do, it is holding up well. It's a bit scratched up,now, but works beautifully. It will warp a little if you leave it upright for too long, though, so store it flat if possible.
