Causes Section Proposal

Does anyone else think we should have a causes/help thread for whenever someone wants help with a project? That way those threads won't get lost quite as fast in the regular feed of things.

Interesting. Can you tell us more? Are you talking about causes like charitable causes, or when you say project, would that include any project, like tailmaking for example?

If this section existed, where would you suggest adding it?

Also, would you mind if I added a poll to this thread asking whether people are strongly in favor of this, slightly in favor of this, neutral, slightly against, or strongly against?

Go for it and add a poll, I think projects that need social support or input. Like fundraising for a cause or getting help with page likes for mermaids at the aquarium like one thread had. That way they're less likely to fall out of the feed,

So I imagine it would be under general community discussions. And presumably it would be for both charitable causes, and other stuff as well, right? Kickstarters, petitions, write in campaigns, that sort of thing?

Can anyone think of another thing to call it besides "causes"? I find it a bit vague and unclear, but I can't think of anything better to call it.

Yeah, like anything you want the community to support you on. Social causes and project assistance. I have no idea what to call it. Mer-Campaigns?
