Combo Silicone/Neoprene Tails

I'm making a new type of tail. It's gonna have a neoprene base, full silicone (and monofin) fluke, and glitter and (maybe) sequins built into the silicone scales. I'm gonna try to keep my blended waist on these as well.

That's why I'm thinking glitter. Big and small glitter to give the look of sequins without the danger

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I've read somewhere on the forum that other mers have had big glitter cut through silicone over time. I could be wrong though.

No, chunky glitter will slice its way out, too. Only use it on places that aren't subject to lots of stretching...the fluke, near the center, is about the only place I've had any luck.

Always do a test sample before adding to a tail!
