Traveling With My Tail!

Hey guys! So I will be in Ontario in January for a hockey tournament and the hotel I'm staying at has an awesome indoor pool that I wanted to bring my tail to the first time I was there a few years ago. My tail (and both monofins) can fold up to fit into a suitcase, but one "monofin" in itself is 40 pounds. That would be my 100% silicone monofin from the mertailor. I was wondering if I do bring my tail, should I pack it or ship it? Last time we flew into Buffalo and then drove to Niagara which is where I'm staying. I think that's the plan this time but I'm not entirely sure yet. What do you think I should do? I've never traveled with a tail before.

I think bring the lightest and cheapest one. Just in case you have light fingered hotel staff.

I would pack it. You can be directly responsible for it that way. I've traveled with my stuff before just fine.
