Ello all

So I am trying to decide which tail to go with for my very first tail! I want to purchase it some time during the beginning of the year or maybe in Spring so I have it for summer but I cant decide which maker to go with...

The two Im debating between are FinFun and MagicTail

I love the look of the Aussie green tail from FinFun but I also love the look of the Arrielle tail from MagicTail

The real deciding factor tho will be the monofin because Im expecting them both to be somewhat floppy and some propulsion but not a whole lot of it but I dont know which brand has the better monofin

So any advice or anything would be greatly appreciated :mermaid kiss:

They both are wonderful choices, but I can't choose which one I personally liked better,I think to be honest fin fun is more comfortable, but magictail is very flowy in a way :) Depending on where you are and the amount of time you want your tail in,Finfun is a quick choice,as magictails will take quite a while to arrive. Congrats!im so happy for you and can't wait to hear about what you choose :D

I've heard the magictail monofins break easily.

I have both a Magictail and a Fin Fun tail/monofin.
The magictail one is more rigid; I enjoy it more for swimming quickly. I've had mine for 2 years; I've swam in it no less than two times a week either in the ocean or my pool in that time and no cracks or issues of any kind. My Finfun monofin doesn't have quite the propulsion, but is more flowy looking underwater.
Hope this helps!

I have both Magictail skins and a Fin Fun one.

Of the two, I prefer the Magictails. The colors looks much nicer and more realistic, especially on the fluke.

The Fin Fun one, though is nice too, but the fluke is like someone spilled watercolors on it.

I'm just throwing this out there, but I would recommend Once Upon a Mermaid. You can choose from variety of colors, have an airbrushed fluke, add dorsal fins and more! If you already own a monofin, she can make the fluke to fit your monofin. She has an etsy and I highly recommend her. Her tails are open ended just like the finfin as well.

Yes she does. The aquarius monofin. Her customer service is awesome, she's a pleasure to work with.

Fin Fun monofin will fit into Magictail skins, and Magictail monofin will also fit into the Fin Fun tail skins.

So which ever of the two monofins and tail skins you choose, it'll always fit.
