I love this song, and the movie. The mermaids in this clip, as unclear as some might find them, remind me of the Disneyland mermaids. Makes sense, considering the era and materials available.

I'm glad you posted it! The movie and scene are mentioned in the Mermaid Movies (http://http://mernetwork.com/index/showthread.php?2187-Mermaid-Movies&p=26078) thread (which includes films which happen to have mermaids show up, if not central to the story), but I don't think anyone's posted the clip.
