The tail unboxing experience

I've been thinking about this for awhile and also chatting to my mer-bestie about it but I'd love to hear what everymer here thinks:

For those who have made their own tails - particularly silicone tails do you miss the unboxing experience of a mer who bought a tail instead?

I'm not entirely sure why you would, but it always seems like a pretty cool experience to unbox your tail...

I don't think so. I don't think most even think about it. And it's almost like instant gratification, they don't have to refresh "shipping" every 5 seconds and have that build up :)

That wouldn't have crossed my mind. It's a different sort of experience but I think both would ultimately be just as exciting, just in different ways.

I'd imagine looking at your tail finally finished and trying it on for the first time would be really exciting and kinda like unboxing a bought tail. That might just be me, though!

Good points yeah. :)
Just something I've thought of a few times... Although I imagine seeing the reaction of someone opening a tail you've made would probably be an amazing feeling. That's something I look forward to with making my best friend's tail. :D

I didn't really do an unboxing, it was more like, opening the trunking. LoL I picked it up from MerNation in a parking lot. It was really great yo meet the creators in person! Though I don't have the cool video. Ah well!
