This is a review of the Tribord Full Face Snorkel Mask. The manufacturer claims that this is the only full faced snorkel mask, that is does not fog or leak, and is intended for surface snorkeling only, no diving. This apparently is the only full faced snorkel mask I've been able to find. It DOES NOT FOG! It does leak, but less than one-fifth of any other mask I have used. I have gone as deep as ten feet with it. Extended use with it will pinch the face. This mask makes it very easy to be in chlorine or salt water. Intended for shallow use only. Given surface use only and it costs twice as much in US as it does in Europe, it is a very nice product.

Apparently there is more then one out there. They all look the same though, different names.

How cool is that! Do you prefer the full facial coverage over a standard mask?

It is very easy to breath in. Minimum leakage. Perfect for snorkeling shallow waters as reefs. It does not fog unlike any other mask I have used.

I'm interested in those masks with the cameras attached. Anyone have experience with those?

Ooo! If one can incorporate the snorkel part into finned swim cap, I'd definitely buy one!

My fiance and I are trying to make up a scary merman tail, etc.

I was interested in these until I found you can't freedive in them. I like to go deep!

Wondering though, does it leave less lines on the face than a normal mask? Might be useful for photoshoots where you have to swim out to a reef and want to see where you're going, but don't want "mask face" right before your shoot.

Depends on the shape of your face. The marks on my face are gone in 15 minutes but I could see it lasting longer.

So you can detach the snorkel part? I like the idea of a full face mask, but I don't really like the built in snorkel sticking up.

Snorkel comes off, but then your blowhole is close to the surface. You could get water into the mask as you have just removed the flaps that close off the snorkel.

We bought one with a go pro attachment. Unfortunately it has been to cold in Florida to test it. You can dive deep if you can pop your ears without pinching your nose.

It kinda looks like something from Pokemon... Again, pokemon tech is the way of the future!
