Suntail, Magictail, and Finfun?

Greetings fellow mers!:)


As of right now I do not own a monofin or tail (this will be my first purchase of either). But I am hoping to change that in the coming months!:D
I have been looking into Finfun and Magictail.de for a while, trying to decide which one I would go with since I would be getting a fabric tail AND monofin from them at the same time. The only monofins I have hands on experience with is a FINIS foil and a FINIS wave (I believe).


The other day I stumbled upon suntail however. And noticed how different their monofins are, compared to Finfun and Magictail. I like the movement of the suntail monofin and their tail prints are quite nice! (their dragon print one hhhhnggg:swoon:)But, unlike the others, I'm not finding many personal reviews on their monofins! I know they are still fairly new, so most people might not be ready to post their reviews, but I was hoping some mers would give me some advice or share their experiences with these brands!(or others that you like!) Anything would be greatly appreciated! And thank you in advance!:D

From what I seen on the youtubes and their videos, the Sun Tail monofin looks pretty neat, and swims nicely. And the scale tails look gorgeous. Love that tapered look where the scales meet the fluke. One other tail that has that kind of scale to fluke look, is Magictail. Its more realistic looking, than one where its chopped off like the Fin Fun tails.

There are quite a few reviews already, but it by kids, not adults with adult size tails.

Magictail, I have 3 of these, in the adult size L. There is no difference in sizes from the female tails and male tails, that is what I was told when I asked about a longer sized tail for tall people.
I love how the scales look. And the fluke is pretty too! I've convinced quite a few primary schoolers that mermaids are real, with the Magictails on!

Either way, whatever of the two (Magictail and Fin Fun) that you choose, know that the monofins can fit in either tails. Not so sure about Sun Tail though, have yet to receive my kickstarter orders. But I will let yous know when it does, and show you in video how it sits inside my Magictail. I do have a Fin Fun but I scrapped the fluke because I didn't like its shape.

I gotten my mono fin from Suntails and i LOVE it. its stiff and gives you power comfy. I have the mono fins that are so floppy that they give you little to now power behind your kick to me thats a waist of money i love ht suntails mono fin !!!

I have a Fin Fun tail and love it! The Monofin is nice even though I havent been swimming in it yet. It is lexan with a neoprene cover that is double stitched that has holes you just slide your feet in. It took a while to put it on at first but once you do it's really easy.
