I haven't been online much these last few months..

Health issues and such.

THings are much better.. So much so that it has caused problems in my mermaid world LOL!
Good but expensive problems.

So short story.. doc was butthead and would renew my diabetes meds. Finally 2 months late was able to get them again but found my A1c was 10.1!! that very very bad...

Snow, new meds and higher dosage of old... numbers down..............and........................... Since November 27th 2015, I've lost 25lbs! I'm down to 175lbs! From a 14 jean to a 10!

Im also still smoke free.. 1yr now!

Doctor took me off of my blood pressure meds!

So the mermaid issues... yep.. my tail.. Falls right off. Literally!

I'm going to make(hopefully) a neoprene tail.... probably with sequins. Been talking off ad on with Bonnie Lavander about it since her tails are fabulous!

While I do that Im saving for a Finfolk tail. I spoke to the twins at Merfest last year. i got a good idea of price and what I kinda want.

The one of me with Tony Curran is from September. Before the health issues. The other one was beginning of the year. BIg difference and Im still losing!

its not the swimming.. its the diet. haven't swam or exercised since last summer

does feel good! i had happy tears when i finally noticed how thin i looked.

@cali give me til mid feb at least ;) Im still working on one for Dubai and one for florida... I had 4 orders since december come through and it takes me 2-3 weeks each.... had to take break at one point.. caught mild case of bronchitis... had to avoid resin fumes and e6000.

No rush at all! I'm getting a new tail around June and I'm going to wait to see how floaty I am in silicone versus fabric first. :)

not really that much.. at lest no more than to walk from parking lot to classroom.. 5 min max..
But I will be hitting gym at college soon as i get my schedule worked out better between class and teaching

thanks everyone! I should be taking new orders soon.. frankly.. i could take an order now... i ve got space to work on another.. the dubai belt will be heading out hopefully monday...

Thank you all for the happy thoughts.. its hard to stay strong on this diet.. temptations but every time i step on that scale and se eanother pund gone... it motivates me...

I know what you mean... Every time I walk past a bag of pork crackling at the Chinese groceries, my mouth just waters and my mind thinks, "Its been so long since I ate that!". It takes a lot to walk away from it!
