So I hate tue Thoth of even beginning to compare what I want to this I age but it's as close as google will get me... I want to make a fabric suit and tail that will be long sleeve and a high turtleneck for my mersona but I have a few ways to do it.

The first option is all one piece. It would make transport easier and there is less chance of things getting left behind.

The second option is to make it in two parts, the tail as one and the top as a second. The top would be a leotard/one-piece bathing suit and would go u dear the tail. Pros are the fact that I could get the top on and be fully covered in a bathroom then go to the poolside to get my tail on and I wouldn't need to wear anything underneath. I could also just take the tail to swim and not the rest if it was hotter water and I didn't want the long sleeves. Cons are that it would be a bit more fabric and there would be a visible seam where the two pieces meet.

Any thoughts on which would be better?
