Monofin help with my fat feet!!!!

So question.....I have a 8 1/2 wide shoe size. I'm going to get my first silicone tail thro Mertailor. With the finis wave monofin I want to be comfy without sores from it. The us women's 9-13 be the way to go for my shoes size? Please help!

Hey congradulations on going for a silicone tail!!
I have the finis wave in my fabric tail I'm not sure where Mertailor is getting his monofins from but finis wave only has two sizes the kids size and the adult size, the monofin has adjustable straps to fit different size feet. I have the adult size with size 7 feet and ive had some friends try it on who have size 10 feet. no problems what so ever. the only problems i've had are when my younger sisters try to use it (the staps don't tighten enough and their feet slip out). In terms of wide feet ive noticed the sides of my feet sometimes rub against the more solid edges (where the rubber meets the bottom on the hard foot pocket) and it can sometimes hurt but I usualy push through it. I personally have never had a monofin sore from the finis wave (knock on wood i dont jinx it).

One thing i do want to say as a side note. there have been some great tails produced by The Mertailor, and there have been some pretty upset Mers out their regarding his work. I have never spoke to The Mertailor, so in no way am i trying to put him down. but please before you order. check out the Mertailor review:
