I will sell to the right buyer if I can get the right price on it. Asking 20,000 - worth over 50,000 new. I feel it could be better suited to a warmer climate mer who would get more uses out of it. Definitely has the WOW factor and tons of swimming room. Heater, filtration, drain holes, sun roof/patio,coral decor and of course 3,000 gallons of acrylic awesomeness.
Let me know!! Launch your career now and mean business!!!!!
Cheers~

OMG. I remember Mertailor sharing videos of your performances in that tank.
How come you're selling it now? :(

Wow! A dream come true! How do you move something like that? Flatbed? How many crew members do you need for an event? The possibilities are mind boggling!

I saw when the original company tried selling this on kijiji. You need a whole crew to move it yes. They has originally made it for filming

I'm wracking my brain to figure out a venue to make this a permanent installation, then have mers come and perform in it as a featured event...Maybe the New York Aquarium or the Coney Island Museum? I'd totally start a Kickstarter to get this tank!

Just put it in your yard haha.

Haha! I wish! My yard is a rocky hillside that leads to my lake. I don't have a flat spot to put it on, and if I want to swim, I just fall off my dock!

lift truck and water truck, but there are always ways to reduce your overhead. I don't want to get rid of it per say, just want it to have to have the best life possible lol. Like a more established mer that could book more gigs with it and get a better return than I.. But if I don't get any offers then we'll see how the summer goes. If this thread gets deleted you can always message me about it down the line.

Yes let's get it a home in NY! Wracking my brain for locations too... I bet there's some rich Hamptonite who wouldn't mind having a mermaid tank in their home!
Edit: Just thought of one place... The Box burlesque nightclub in SoHo might go for something crazy like this. They make $20,000 every time someone buys a bottle of champagne! That place is crazy but they're always looking to push performance "art" haha

Omg I wish. Pearlie lets all go in on it and we can use the money from the gigs to buy the play boy mansion and we can each have a wing, Lol.
Oh wow I wish!! Hope it goes to a loving home :)

more of a background story for those of you who can't wrap your head around me "wanting" to find her a new home- originally I was going to do private topless mermaid parties/stags .. but this idea never really took off- in that kids seem to like mermaids more than adults- at least in Canada. Keeping in mind that I've only had her for 1 year and the size can be overwhelming at times and make me want to give up early- (i know it can take up to 6 years to get established in this field) However- the point of my story being that since I tend to sway towards the adult side of things in my everyday life- which lead to me having this beautiful piece of equpiedment, it's tough to try and dive into both worlds so to speak- adult and children entertainer. Its cool how things worked out and Im happy to have my eyes open to a new world- but it only takes a few people to bad mouth me or find out about my other life before sea weed hits the fan. So as badly as I want to keep her its a bit of a gamble. And even if I kept it for personal use, I would need a mansion or heated garage to fit it in!! Now you know my story... no hate please.

Just throwing this out there, right now the CAD to USD conversion rate is really good. That's only about 14.5k USD. Not an insignificant investment by any means but definitely cheaper than 20k.

If I was more established or at least didn't move so much, I would love to have that tank. It's soooo big. Soooo awesome. So much want. I mean how much is things like upkeep and transportation on this bad boy?

Leasing is definitely another option- even to split the cost of set up (truck and water) just to be a tank mer for a day. (and hopefully get paid also lol)
As mentioned I'd love to get more uses out of it- so far I seem to be having the most luck with charity events. So if any mers (tank or not) want to collab def let me know :) I would love to host at local fairs too but Im new at this.

I am looking at doing a pirate festival this fall....bringing this tank out would be a BLAST...would you send me a pm and let me know what the transportation and set up costs would be to a campground in Richmond, MN?
Google tells me its about a 15 hour drive.
The festival would be about 3 days.
Pay would be based on how we set up the exhibit.
If you are interested in a collaboration, let me know! :)

It's a bit of a pain to move needing a lift truck or in a pinch piano movers with a crane- but I'd reccoment the ladder as the crane did leave a few scratches on it// not sure they were careful enough. Then finding a water truck that will work on weekends.

The easiest ** way would be to keep it on trailer on not fill it all the way and not use water truck, so perhaps set up the day before. Then you would be able to charge much less for gigs. But I'm getting so discouraged since I don't have a background in child education and haven't really gotten any gigs yet due to my looks ... (and big boobs) .. that I really should start taking offers.
People don't always take you seriously when you have a more 'sexy' mer look - for me at least.. plus my current career background I should just stick with what I'm good at :///// I wouldn't want someone to out me and shame me

I can definitely afford this tank. It is beautiful. Currently we are working on a new house, selling our current one, then moving, but if this is still available I will contact you and give it a proper home in Nashville TN.

There's a lot of mers who do what you do. So don't feel ashamed. It can cause issues with working with children though, which I know can be frustrating. You are a huge advocate for animals and I think it's one of the best things about you.

0 hate at all here, I have never worked a kids birthday or children's event of any kind, when I had my first tail, ALL my events were adult based nightclubs, parties, a swim up bar and swingers parties. It's my favorite type of event to work because the tips are insane. Don't feel bad at all <3
If I had this kind of cash laying about or even had a car to put up as collateral on a loan I would snap this up in a heartbeat. As it is, I have put it out in a few local nightclubs and party spots here that this is available.
This thing has to be incredible to swim in.
