I am getting ready to venture into the world of neoprene for the first time and need all the help/advice I can get. While searching for affordable neoprene today I came across this...
http://www.fabricwholesaledirect.com/products/neoprene-scuba-fabric?utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=googlepla&variant=1679915523&gclid=CjwKEAiAi4a2BRCu_eXo3O_k3hUSJABmN9N1vMTDlEra yv0HwYnMOqXeVzp4fBoKKs8ep4jPXxUDhhoCn_fw_wcB

It's 1.5mm, lots of color choices, for $10.49/yd. Can anyone tell me if this will work for a tail?

And my other question... has anyone ordered from this website? If so, anything you can tell me about product quality, customer service, etc. would be appreciated. I'm always hesitant when it comes to ordering from any website for the first time.

Thanks!

I just called the company and they said this fabric is not waterproof and not considered suitable for making a wetsuit, so I guess that answers my question. I hope this helps inform others who may be considering this stuff...

Under the making tails tab there's info on good places to get materials, including neoprene. I recommend macro international. They've been able to help me in the past.

Yeah I was going to say that it looks like neoprin to me.

Mermaid Momo,
No, the fabrics I was talking about are not neoprin. That was the first thing I looked for. They simply are not a grade of neoprene (there are many) that is suitable for water wear such as wetsuits or mermaid tails.
