So far I have made two tails a bought 1. I'm 16 and I LOVE MERMAIDS. (Probably cause I am a mermaid) growing up with aqua marine, h20, and the little mermaid motivated me to make my first tail at 6 years old. I had no sewing machine so I hand sewed it and did not have a mono-fin so I used flippers. Sadly it fell apart in the pool. However, that was the most magical moment in my life at 6 years old. Sadly I had to take a break from mermaiding for a while because I was put in the mental hospital and had to be put on medication leaving me sick and tired. (In case you were wondering I have bipolar) in 5th grade I begged my parents to buy me a mermaid tail and they did and it was gorgeous but it was too big! (It was from Mertailor) I swam in it for a while but it was very hard because of the size. In middle school I made a mermaid tail, it was pink and beautiful and I loved it! But After swimming in fabric tails for so long they wear out. So now I'm on a new mission. After being on the swim team for 4 years I'm determined to make my very own silicone mermaid tail. WISH ME LUCK.
