I'm so excited to announce my business request got approved! I can perform on my base! I'm so beyond myself I was crying!

Thank you to Mermaids Raina, Harmony, Adalira, Jaffa, and of course Kariel, who was the original inspiration. You guys gave me advice, mentored me, and I'm so thankful. You could've just ignored me and my constant rampage of questions but you guys really helped me out. And now I get to do something I've been dreaming about for the past 4 years.

Im so excited! I'll be documenting my journey on my BTS tumblr, traveling-mermaid-saren.tumblr.com if anyone's interested.

On this thread I'll prolly post updates and things. Ugh I'm so excited!!!!

You e given me advice on monofins and Storytime and a bunch of other things!

Best thing happened! I found an accounting mistake and I'm getting an extra $200 in my next paycheck! This will really help with saving up for my silicone tail! I also found where I can get liability insurance! As well as working on expanding my services to other bases!

And I found a makeshift "storefront"! I can rent a room in the lodge in base to promote my business and sell my accessories. I'm very excited! And I take my CPR class today. Hopefully I can update this thread with more good news.

Blog update. I also have contracts in the works for doing swim parties so hopefully I'll get approved and can start swimming in my tail

My first Storytime is in two days and I have another one this upcoming Weds! I'm so excited! I've got crafts and activities and I'll be reading the Brave Mermaid. I'm just so nervous! I'm a little worried I don't have enough things planned!

Another blog update. I'm pulling focus away from doing parties. There's no demand where I live and waiting around for someone to maybe want a mermaid is keeping me from being a mermaid.

So parties will happens if they happen and in the meantime I'll be mermaiding recreationally and hopefully will get to do some fun creative projects.

I really want to do an epic music video!
