Mer Tops: Dry and Wet wear

Hi, I make mermaid tops for swimming and dry events using different items. This is a top I've made myself for dry events (below). The top has feathers, shells, gold buttons, blister pearls and a few other items. I would like to start making them for others in whatever design the person can imagine. I know it says it depends on what it on them, but what is the range about do you know?

Well, the design posted cost me around $150 AUD to make so around that price. certain items do push up the price though as they are expensive to purchase... like real pearls and semi precious stones for example. The pearls in this one are real.

When I did say they were real... I meant the slightly cream coloured ones that have an obscure shape. The others are glass.

That is a lovely design. Unfortunately, I've read up on my pool's rules... They have a no swimming in underwear rule, so all those sports bra I had planned to wear swimming - *sign*
Back to finding practical underwired swim bras...

I agree with the rules. Water plays havoc with the fantasy tops that look good for fashion photo shoots, but may have thingies coming off and floating around in the water. Everyone else in the pool who just wants to do a swim workout has to deal with all that floating detritus. On dry land, it's fine to be a fashion diva. In the water, all you need is something to cover up the boobs to preserve one's modesty.
