Hello, my name is Brooke and I live in the League City area! (about 30 minutes to an hour from Houston/Galveston. I have had a Mertailor silicon tail since around May of last year and just the other day bought a stunning custom tail from Pearl01 (who referred me to this site c: )
Just thought I'd introduce myself before I start appearing in all of you guys' threads all-of-a-sudden :p
For some background, I currently intern as a paleontologist at the Houston Museum of Natural Science and I am a dual credit high school student just a few credits from my Associate's degree. I love mermaiding and would love to participate in more than just the occasional pool visit with the kid I babysit or Renaissance festival. It won't let me post any pictures for whatever reason, but there's some on my Instagram (www.instagram.com/xcanadensis (http://www.instagram.com/xcanadensis)), though you'll drown in a sea of dolls, warning you now :crazy:

I do get on that mermaid hashtag quite a bit :p I got mobbed by SO MANY kids and took pictures with so many kids that my face was throbbing by the end of the day :lol: Be warned. Someone even handed me their baby... must've been a hit. I should all meet up and do a mermaid thing at ren fest this year ;)
