Here's the situation...before I send this person off to someone I would not recommend, I had someone contact me today looking for a silicone tail by April 20 - A LITTLE OVER A MONTH AND A HALF!

HELP! Who should I point this person to?

I just talked to someone who just ordered from them and I believe they said it should be done in 4 weeks.
Their website says once production starts it's 2 weeks to finish. So I guess it depends on how many clients they have right now as to when they will start, and how fast the tail will be finished.

I prefer their fluke designs and their tails are lighter. Good quality and good painting job too. Plus, their tails made an appearance on "Supernatural". How cool is that?? :D

Hi Pearlie,

Just wanted to chime in, yes our studios will be closed for a few weeks during March/April however we would definitely be able to fit their order in before we leave if they were to overnight us all of their measurements ASAP (as in..today haha) Once we get back, everyone is correct, we will return to completing tails within the 2-3 week window that we have been consistently doing for the last few years :) (over 55 tails made last year alone!)

If you would like, feel free to have them send us an email at TheMerNation@gmail.com and we can discuss with them if we are an option for them.

Also, just to add our 2 cents, our tails weigh between 30-35lbs, even the ones with a ton of extra fins. This is definitely comparable to other silicone tails on the market.

I love my MerNation tail. The paint job is gorgeous, it photographs beautifully, I have swam in both pools and springs, have sat on rocks and cement and there is not a nick, a scratch, a tear, nothing. It's flawless. Best of all, I got it in no time flat and had constant communication every day while the process was in the works. I am totally ordering again once I thin out to much for this tail. Oh and yes, it is around 35 pounds but for me it makes them feel sturdier and you don't feel the weight at all in the water.
