So one of the Mermaids in my pod was recently telling me a story of how a group of kids at the local pool saw her wearing her tail and came up to her. They all thought she was a real Mermaid and were so enamored with her tail they were practically hanging off her, following her everywhere and asking her lots of questions. When it came to leave, she actually had to get her Mer wrangler carry her out of the pool and all the way out of the building because she didn't have the heart to break the illusion for them that she was a real Mermaid!
