I inherited my mom's acoustic guitar, it has a boring black hard plastic case. I really want to paint it or cover it in the big Cartwright scale sequins. Would it be possible? What would I use? The case has a shallow bumpy texture. I'm thinking that e6000 might work, not totally sure. Any thoughts?

Not sure about them, so line they could come off. Have you considered painting them?

There are a lot of scale stencils you can buy or you can get a blank sheet of plastic and make your own. I only suggest painting over sequins because then you do not have to worry about them being pulled off or how to make sure they stay down flat enough so if you have the option to sling the case over your shoulder. With paint, it will remain flat and you can get a wide array of colors in iridescent or metallic styles.

Thanks Orca, I'm going to spray paint a primer on the case first and then paint with acrylic paint. Since I have a whole bunch of plastic sheets for stencil making I'll make my own scale stencils. Once I get the strings replaced on the guitar I'm going to make some guitar straps with scale sequins and rhinestones. It's $40+ for a already made rhinestone strap and I can make one for $10-$20!
