For dragonskin silicone:

what is a good pigment for a flesh tone (Caucasian)?

what about a dark blue? I bought pearl-ex saphire blue, but i need to make a darker blue for contrast detail

how do you mix part a, part b, and pigment to "paint" on top of cured silicone? what's a good thinner? is airbrush the only way or can it be done with brush-on? (i like the fine control of a paint brush)

For a flesh tone, some people use the orange pearl-ex pigment, but I've found that powder mineral makeup works well too (test first for cure inhibition)! That way you can get a more exact match too!
For my darker blue scales, I mixed the carbon black and true blue pearl-ex, and it gives a really nice darker blue.
To paint it, you make up a batch of silicone like you normally would, add the pigment and then thin it down using naptha, xylene or toluene, or NOVOCS if you can get a hold of it. You can hand paint or air brush it, up to you!

thank you Kate! can you name a brand of mineral makeup that has worked for you in the past?

I can, but it's a bit of an unusual one! I use Meow cosmetics foundation, they have over 80 different shades and they're the only one that matches my slightly odd skin tone.
You could probably use cheap chemist makeup, just make sure you test a small batch first!

I've used eye shadow and it worked really well. I mixed three different shades from the Urban Decay naked palette to get this:

Depending on how much you need, it can get quite expensive, though. But it works really well!
