I made this series of Birthstone Mermaids using the Goddess Dressup on the Azalea's Dressup site.

You did so well, its really beautiful. It would be wonderful to be presented with an oyster shell and with our "pearl" (birthstone) within the oyster.

May I say, though, that my colour/stone choice would be October, not February which is my birth month.
Purple?

These are all great! Makes me wanna see an alexandrite (June birthstone) mermaid, since it's a color changing stone I can only imagine how iridescent the mermaid would be!

I was going to say, "but it clashes with my aura", but then I took a look at this

and realized purple is the complimentary colour of it :p

(Complimentary colours are located on a tangent in the colour wheel, directly on the opposing side.
My aura is seagreen.)

That said, I still like how white light is the progenitor of ALL colours, as it's made of red, green, and blue, which in turn build all other colours when mixed.

I think I'll do all the stones listed by the American Gem Society as official gemstones, some months get only one but others 2 or 3

I'm a January baby, but I like the more conservative look of October's boob covers and the colors of May, June and August.

I love this!!! The October ones are absolutely gorgeous! (I'm October so maybe I'm biased [emoji6])! This would be a great idea to do for the zodiac signs also! I know it's similar with the birth months, but a different concept [emoji5]

I worked with a very old indian lapidist, and he taught me that traditionally birth stones go by your sun sign horoscope. He said for marketing purposes people made it the month for their were a mass of people that thought going by the horoscope was against their spiritual morals.

Just some interesting facts. :)

I thought of zodiac mers, maybe doing mers who appear to be the personality traits associated with each sign, since this dollmaker does allow for a variety of facial expressions? Aren't they colors associated with each sign too? Was big into astrology in middle school, but it's been a while

Kae-Leah, those are beautiful! I'm a March mermaid... which is really weird, since you mentioned the bloodstone... :p I actually have a bloodstone ring that my parents had made for me that I wear EVERYWHERE! Hahahahahaha! I honestly didn't even know it was associated with the month, and I don't think they did either... :eek: Weird coincidence...??? 36271
