Ermy

Hi everyone.
I'm Ermy (mer-alias) from the Front Range. That would be the 'burbs of Denver for you out of towners. My tail is blue and comes from Mermagica and I first transformed into my mer side many years ago and have been loving adding the physicality of having a warm tail below my waist to go with all of the mermaid books I like to read. I have been laying low for a while and not swimming much let alone with a tail. Recently I started seeing a therapist and have come to the realization that my stress and anxieties started around the same time I began neglecting and hiding my merness. We'll, it's time I trade tension migranes, ocd and hypochondria in and go back to being a mermaid out in the open! One of the things I learned in therapy, and I have read the same thing here on the recreational mer thread, is to forget what others think and just be who you are naturally. People think 'it' (whatever 'it' might be) is weird the first time but if you own it and have confidence and keep at it then 'it' just becomes who you are. Being different or 'weird' is way underrated! I am definitely looking forward to making many new friends and even getting together poolside and then we can break thru the weirdness together.
