Sequin Silicone Hybrid Tail

So, I made this tail out of the blue for no reason because I was bored and needed a random craft project. I don't really have many progress pictures of it but here it is anyway. I bought some 2 way stretch reversible sequin fabric from Spandex House because I thought it would look awesome as a tail body. When it got here though I was kind of disappointed because the stretch didn't go the way I wanted the "scales" (sequins) to lay and they also weren't very reversible. They were the same color on both sides...but they do have an awesome oil spill effect so there's a plus. The fluke is just plain metallic spandex covered in silicone with embedded fine glitter and the heel and dorsal fins are oraganza covered in silicone. This is the first time I've worked with silicone and I think it came out pretty well!
