Florida Merfolk Retreat August 19-21, 2016

Mermaid Kelly & Treasure Coast Mermaid is hosting the first ever Florida Merfolk Retreat in Weeki Wachee Florida. We have discounted rentals available that are first come first served. On Friday, August 19th We will all arrive at the rentals and have an informal banquet to kick off the event. Food for the banquet only will be provided. If you are not staying at the rentals, we still encourage you to join. There will be a Professional Photographer for photo sessions charging only $50 for a select amount of photos and Mermaid Angie will provide her designer mermaid bras and crowns as well as doing mermaid make up for a $20 fee. We are not charging for the event, however all expenses are paid individually. You will be responsible for your own food, gas, Entrance fees, etc. There are hotels near the rentals if the rentals fill. On Saturday, the 20th, we will travel to Rainbow Springs. We advise you get there about 8am. The spring will reach capacity sometime during the day. you are at your own risk to get there in time. The spring is about an hour from the rentals and carpool options can be discussed closer to the event. Some snacks will be provided but we advise everyone to prepare their own just in case. Sunday, the 21st, we will spend the day at the wonderful Weeki Wachee Park. You can stay with a group or go on your own, its up to you. We will meet up for lunch and then depending on schedules we will depart and have our good byes. You can stay longer if you wish. You must be in the mercommunity to stay at the rentals and perferably no small children in the rentals either. We must yield to park goers as we have no extra privileges. By attending this event, you give full permission for us to take photos and publicly post them. We deleted the event off of Facebook to keep it more private. The event had gotten way out of control, but no worries! The event is still on! If you are still interested in attending the event, please like the event page. We will update there until we make a new private event for merfolk only!
