Hi guys! So, me and two other friends are working on our first tail (it is for one of those said friends) and as you can see, we have a problem. The friend whose tail this will be wanted really tiny scales (for more realism), so we designed the shape and have been tracing them all individually onto a piece of foam. When we started putting the scale sheet together, however, we noticed all these tiny holes in between many of the scales. When we go to put the liquid plastic onto the tail to use as a mold, it will leak through and mess up the whole shape... So is there any way to fix this issue of the holes without changing the shape of the scales, or will we have to start over with a different shape? I thought we might be able to fill in the holes with little bits of sealant (like the kind they use on baths) or something of the sort. Any help regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated!!

You can fill in the little gaps with oil based clay or sulphur free modeling clay

Ah, thank you so much :D So the sealant I was talking about wouldn't work...? Just wondering since I already have it at hand

I wouldn't know, I would test it with a little, tiny scale sheet first and see if silicone will cure in the mold.

Thanks- I would use liquid plastic to make a little scale mold (tester) first, and then pour the silicone in that, correct?
