pulled my first silicone pieces this weekend, and found that the pigments which looked good when mixing are much more muted when cured. can I just add more pigment (I don't want to interfere with curing)? is there some magic ratio or trick?

tail makers don't just tint the silicone, they also make a thinned down version to paint with and do layer after layer.

Yes, that, You can add more pigment too. It shouldn't mess with curing.
