I'm looking for makeup that makes skin white, kinda like a porcelain doll. Anyone know of a good brand and where to get it?

a lot of those looks are achieved simply through porcelain foundation and appropriate powder. Then usually a slight adjustment in photoshop so it doesnt look grainy.

I use white cake make up. It's slightly silicone based, so it doesn't sweat off that quickly. I've the black variant too.
The brand is Grimas, it works even pretty well with a sensitive skin, which I have.

You could also try talcum, it will give your face a glossy/matte white look, but it won't make your face pure white.

Thanks for the tips! I'll see how the talc looks. If that doesn't look right, I'll get some of the makeup. Thanks for the recommendation!

In drag they use ben nye, its a theatrical foundation powder thats optic white, and its available at most costume stores

I love Ben Nye, I use a creme from them that is used for vampire makeup to take color out of the face. I was skeptical at first because it looks tan in the pot but it really does take any rosiness out of skin for a more natural pale look. I want to try an even paler color though.

You could even use waterproof stage makeup, performers and dancers lather that stuff on like you wouldn't, believe before a performance, i did the geisha thing once, its cool for when you want to do a kind of koi mermaid

Then usually a slight adjustment in photoshop so it doesnt look grainy.

Geisha looks are not enhanced with photoshop, they have to look like that in reality as performers.

Not sure why Blue Mermaid stresses she doesn't want that look, because apart from the heavier dark eye-make-up, I don't see much difference between the two styles, but oh well. :)

A gothic ex-friend of mine used Dermablend. It had excellent coverage and held up well without that greasepaint look.

Manic Panic do really good white makeup! Not sure if you get it in the USA though!

If you are afraid that it will be too pale or pasty... add a small amount of your regular foundation to a white makeup and blend, it will give you a livelier tone. Don't forget to add a pale blush!!!

I think manic sells on amazon for a reasonable price, personally I dig the stark white Geisha appearance. So much Mystique.
