Does anyone know of someone who sells premade tops that would fit a smaller chested mer? I know you can order customs in whatever size you want, but I don't really know what I want yet as far as a custom goes. I've seen a lot of premade tops I've liked but they won't fit my tiny chest. All of the premade ones I have seen are sized around the 36C-ish mark and I'm a 34A.

I feel ya Aria... I am a 34A as well. I can't answer your question, but I am definitely following this thread.

I know there are a few different mers who make silicone tops. Just recently I was really impressed with Mermaid Hyli's silicone tops she made for the Dive Bar Mermaids: https://www.facebook.com/MerHyli/photos/a.489731907758868.1073741831.489312624467463/1051139398284780/?type=3&permPage=1

I definitely tend to like the looks of pre-made tops more than custom ordered ones. I feel like the pre-made ones always have more details- perhaps because the pre-made ones are usually used for a really special photoshoot or they were originally made to be worn by the artist herself.

Oh wow those are so gorgeous and unique!

I would definitely suggest Hyli. I've followed her work and seen some gorgeous ones she's made that cater to smaller sizes. This pink seaweed one was made for a fairly small top size: https://instagram.com/p/BBBQuO-oIBh/

Hyli is indeed amazing. I ordered a top from her about 2 months ago. And now it's shipped to me. So there is a waiting time but 2 months isn't too bad for a custom top. And her communication is great

Or there are a few sellers on etsy that sell silicone shels, starsfish,... in different sizes. They are very affordable. Then you can make your own top.

I'm a B cup, so I kinda know what you're talking about. SirenAllure/Mermaid Hyli would be your best bet. I've found that with having a smaller chest, you can use realistic shells if you choose to make your own top. Real Lions Paw shells only come so big. so look at it as a good thing, you have more options! :)

I've attached a few photos for reference

This is my silicone top from Mermaid Hyli. It's a 34B if that helps. I dont have any cleavage in it, and it's incredibly secure. no slippage or risk of showing something I would rather not. It's built over a bra, so theres a little bit of padding for shape.

This is my home-made shell bra. the shells are rather flat, so I filled the gap with faux seaweed from a petshop. It's mounted on a bra that I liked (I just removed the straps in favor of a fishnet halter).

Honestly, if youre unsure about dropping the money on a custom top, I recommend making your own. I only spent about $50 in supplies to make my shell top, and I still fiddle with it to this day. I make small alternations or fuss with the greenery. Making shell tops is not as hard as it would seem. I was surprised how easy it was.

Those are both really gorgeous! I think I will try making my own. Thanks for the suggestions :)

I will say this about making your own (it's probably obvious, but I made the mistake)
Hot glue is not a good idea. It doesn't hold very well when wet. Use something silicone based or gorilla glue or e6000. I used hot glue the first time and the shells fell right off. Rookie mistake XD
