Mahina Merfin

Its been awhile since I last posted. Life got crazy! My Mahina Merfin finally came in, and I'll be swimming with it for the first time tomorrow. I am so excited to start this journey!

Yay! Congrats on getting your Merfin! I have one and I really like swimming in them! I would suggest wearing socks though as they can rub a bit :) Good luck!

Anyone know if there is a Mahina extra large yet, or plans for one? I've got big fat size 9.5 feet. But I love the shape and really want one!

Dancing Fish, if you are talking about a US 9.5 then a large should fit. Maybe even a medium. I have size 6-7.5 (depending on the shoe) and I wear a small comfortably.

I wear a ladies 8.5 or 9 and the Medium fits me fine, I have wiggle room in it.

I bought the black one and was ecstatic when I received it (yes, I sat in it for 3 hours in my loungeroom and at the doctors office while my grandmother was getting her radiation therapy) and then I took it to mexico with me. I love it but the only thing that concerns me is the rubbing up against the top of my feet which is quite uncomfortable. anyway, I got a swimming video while I was at the lagoon in mexico. (Its a private pool so I wont be able to release details about it)

Hey I've just bought a mahina monofin. They are so pretty. I ordered it in the blue. I am a uk size 5 so I followed their size chart and ordered an adult small. I am really excited to use it :)

I need to know what size to buy since the last time I went by the size chart I was way wrong.

I feet fit perfectly in the Mirage Merfin but I miss my mahina.

So I'm going to post my feet measurements and if someone could compare my feet to there's and tell me what size they have that would be fab.

My feet are 61 centimeters from big toe to heel and 25.5 centimeters at the widest point.

Roughly 8.5 inches long from big toe to heel and 3.5 inches wide. Maybe 3 inches wide.

It might fit over the mahina.... But the mahinas are pretty big and the shape is def not the same

Yeah... that was my concern.. but I have yards and yards of fabric so maybe if I bought a merfin I could just make a tail! :D

I think it would stick out on the sides and bottom :(
But I do think you could modify and making a tail is very fun and rewarding
