Hello fellow Mermaids and Merman! I'm Mermaid Jade from Oklahoma. I have been lurking the community for a bit and finally decided to introduce myself and be familiar with everyone.
I currently own a fabric tail from Magictail and ended up loving it more than I imagined so I can confidently say waiting for the day I get my silicone tail won't be as bad as I imagined lol
Anyways it's nice to meet you all :$ I hope we can be great friends.

It's getting cold for outdoor swimming but the Pryor rec center allows tails in their indoor pool

Same at our rec center here. Have done several events this summer at our swim and fitness. Am hoping to be renting out the facility for a photoshop this winter. All are welcome to come when it is scheduled

I'm hoping it'll be sometime in November... Just depends on photographers and availability. I know that there will be at least 3 mers and 1 or 2 photographers with scuba gear that have already said they were going to come when we schedule it. So the more the mer-ier

Absoflukely! Downtime right now with the change in seasons so even just to meet up for coffee and chit chat. I love meeting new people. Heck, in the world we live in, we need more positive interactions in our lives. So sick of the world drama. Why cant we all be mermaids and get along lol!

Looks like probably February for a meetup so most of our gals can have tails to swim in. Probably going to be either a Wednesday or a Sunday. Will definitely post details once I book it. All are welcome!

I have a fabric tail and just ordered my second fabric tail Saturday. I've got plans to get a partial. One of the neoprene/silicone ones but that won't be till sometime in 2018 I think lol.

I'm currently working on a small project, a fabric tail with silicone fluke made from that reversible sequin "mermaid" fabric. I will probably be taking it to the Pryor rec center in a week or 2 to test it out if anyone wants to join me.
