I've created a new business resource called "How Can Disney Help You be a Better Mermaid?" It's based on some professional development I took, and the research of a famed researcher of neuro-linguistic programming who researched successful people. I think the content is really interesting and applicable to our mermaid work. I hope people find it useful

They always leave out Roy Disney Senior, Walt's brother. Sure Walt was the idea man, but it was Roy that figured out how to pay for it.

Sorry I left out Roy, Mersheep. The researcher just looked at Disney's creative process as it relates to running a business- not Roy'd budgeting/financial skills. I could probably do an entire book about finances. Let alone a blog post

Now that would be a book worth reading. I had dinner once with Roy's personal secretary, probably 30 or more years back. That is when I first heard about WED, Retlaw, and Reedy Creek. Also saw Roy once in the park back in the late 1960s, where I first learned about him.

I was sort of being (fun) silly with my comment. I noticed in Saving Mr Banks Roy was left out as well, he did most of the negotiations. Oh well, it is all "Based on a true story." anyway.

yeah Im not taking a grand look at Disney, I am applying his approach to making cartoons to a mermaid business model. It's meant to be a resource.
