Hi everyone, I got a silicone tail (basic) with a custom paint job from The Mertailor, but they made the top of it way too big. It's neoprene lined, any ideas on how I can take it in myself> they said they'd do it for free but id have to ship it back and thats over $100 shipping. I sew costumes for a living, maybe I could put it through my sewing machine? thanks for any advice you have :D

The problem is really that the opening is too large and water comes in and pulls the tail down as I swim :(

Seam the sides and sew in an elastic around the bottom hem of the top.

Those are the tails that have the more visible side seams aren't they? I would think as long as you have a strong needle you should be able to take the sides in.

You know only have to have a strong also have to have the correct machine that can hold up to the pressure
