Ahhh!! I am so excited! My monofin is set to arrive tomorrow morning, so I decided to start on the body part tonight! I'm using some basic materials-Spandex and Fabric paint, but I love how its turning out so far! I'm terrible at drawing, so I just launched right into it! I am using Liquitex paint (soft body) and the Liquitex spray paint to give it an iredescent shimmer!! Here is a pic before the shimmer:37169
and after the shimmer!!37170
I'm testing it out on that part of the fabric first, then I will do the whole tail! More updates in about a half hour/an hour (depends on how fast it dries)(:
If you have any tips for painting the spandex, please let me know!!
PS this is the top it is going with(: The fluke will be covered in the same sequins mixed with some dark blue ones!37171

Are you using a scale stencil to keep them a uniform size?

Nice! I'm going to buy the Liquitex fabric medium sometime next week to paint a tail too.
