So I revamped a pair of my heels today and LOVE LOVE LOVE them! :D
I'm thinking of offering a service to revamp shoes or I may even recycle secondhand shoes and put them up for sale. What do you think?

I LOVE THEM! I love the heel treatment, too! Since shoes are such a particular fitting item, you might be better off customizing shoes that clients provide.

I did the same with a one-piece bathing suit that had a hole in the butt, covered it with leftover scales and fixed the hole! Going to try and get pix this weekend. I also put scales on a clothbound journal. Looks cool, but everything sticks to it! Hello! Can we say 'cat hair'???

I paint scale shoes, and I buy the shoes, because you never know what people do with their feet and fungus, and used shoes are not something you want to sell because you cant guarentee their cleanliness. Better to find a good/cheap pair of heels that you like, and they stock at the store and include that in your price. IE. If someone brings you shoes to scales it's scale creating price, if they don't then it's scale creating price+the cost of the shoes. Just my suggestion, that's what I do and it works out well. But I love the heels you did, they are gorgeous :-)
