I am looking at getting a second backup tail for smaller gigs and practice. I use my SyrenStudios tail pretty heavily and am looking to lessen the wear and tear on her.

Any suggestions on good hybrid tail makers or partial silicone tail makers? I want to avoid Mertailor, (I am undecided about MerrowFins. I've heard good and bad things about him. More bad than good as of late)

I would like to stay around $1000 or below ideally (excluding shipping)

I love working with new tail makers as well, so if anyone has newbie commission recommendations I'd love to hear those as well!

Thanks everyone! [emoji4][emoji225][emoji225]

Purple Mermaid studios has made some really pretty tails so far and I believe their partial silicone :) She has a thread on here too if you want to look her up!

I second what Sarina said. Her tails are lovely.

Her tails are also GE silicone not dragon skin according to her post.

Keiris is making hybrid tails, I believe. The one he made for himself is stunning!

His work is beautiful! I love his tail making thread. I think he's taking orders soon if he isn't already.

I love Keiris' tails. He's a little pricier than I want to spend on a backup tail right now. Tiggs tails also look really nice.
I do like MerrowFins. I've just heard to many contracting reviews.

There are also the new FinFolk tails which I'm sure you have heard of!
