I havent posted on here in over a year. Life can get busy and other things take priority and still do.

Well I already have a silicone tail in my collection but I am wanting to get a fabric tail for holidays in the beginning of August. I know its kinda short notice but to describe the design its basically the a tail with a pocket for a full size finis wave or rapid (whatever the adult version is). All that is needed is either a zipper for the pocket at the bottom to take the monofin in and out. THe waist can simply be a string or what ever to use to tie it shut like certain pairs of athletic shorts. It will be a single color whatever that is and nothing else. Just a very basic simple fabric tail that can be custom made to my measurements and just the skin made. I can purchase a monofin in the nearest big city near me. Also I would like some quality fabric to stand up for a few swims.

Is this asking to much? For anyone interested what are the costs involved with either swimwear fabric or neoprene?

Thanks
MerMatt

I believe I could help you. I don't have a store but I have made around 10 tails. I have found a great fabric for tails is scuba knit. More durable than spandex but lighter than neoprene. Let me know if you think I could help. :)
And cost would depend on your measurements but shouldn't run too high.

This is a tail I've made. This one is closed at the end though. If you can get your hands on a Mahina or other rubber fun they can actually be folded and put into the tail from the top so an opening isn't needed.

Also a zip isn't always needed. I use heavy duty velcro, sewn and glued, to close the end of my fluke
