View Full Version : Sealing resin molds before using silicone?

Alright. I will preface this by saying I'm super impatient. I made fiberglass resin molds that are currently on my porch off-gassing and I'm dying. I want to pour silicone so badly. I know patience is key. But I've waited like four days. If I spray the molds with an acrylic sealant will that stop the off-gassing and make them usable? Or do I legit have to wait another four days for them to finish? I know I'm a lunatic. I just have everything I need to start pouring silicone and I can't and it's driving me crazy. If I just need to slow my roll and stop being insane you can tell me. But if there's a work-around I'm unaware of I'd love to know.
