So this is super cool. I am in a bunch of prop groups with my husband, we do armor making and video game cosplay and a friend of mine just posted this.

It's the 'Stolen Voice Nautilus' shell necklace from The Little Mermaid, Josh put LED's and a system in it so that it reacts and lights up whenever you're singing or talking.

Hi There,

I am Josh (HotPockets) the one who made the Nautilus Necklace.

I wanted to post a video so you could see how it reacts to voice/sound, and tell you a bit more about the piece.

The necklace will respond to your beautiful Mermaid or Merman voice whenever you talk or sing. Use it to find your Prince/Princess, or to steal someone else's Prince/Princess if that's your thing)

The controller has a slide on/off switch on it. You can use that to turn the lights on, when you want the shell to light up, or keep it off, so you don’t run the batteries all the time.

You can also adjust the volume sensitivity on the Microphone. You want the necklace to respond to your voice, but not go crazy at every little ambient noise. The mic has a teensy little adjustment screw. You'll be able to turn it down for noisy convention halls or up for quiet storytelling sessions.

The last item is the charger. Simply plug it via any MiniUSB cable into a USB port and a 3.7V/4.2V lithium polymer or lithium ion rechargeable battery into the JST plug on the other end. There are two LEDs - one red and one green. While charging, the red LED is lit. When the battery is fully charged and ready for use, the green LED turns on.

I feel like this would be super cool for dry land shows, or parties especially with mers who actually have vocal talent.

Myself.......im not even allowed to sing in the shower I am so bad. I greatly envy the mers with beautiful voices.....I sadly am not one. This would make a powerful performance. I always love seeing mermaids sing.
